Environmental Services and Hospitality Support Staff

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for dedicated Environmental Services and Hospitality Support Staff to join our team on a part-time or casual basis.
ROLE OVERVIEW
- Collaborate with our skilled catering team to deliver high-quality meals for our clients while ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- The Environmental Services and Hospitality Support Staff will be tasked with maintaining cleanliness in healthcare facilities, aged care residences, and surrounding areas.
- Assist in the preparation, serving, and delivery of meals for patients, residents, staff, and events, ensuring that all supplies and equipment are kept in a safe and sanitary condition, adhering to relevant health standards.
- Successful candidates will work on a rotating schedule across a 7-day week, including weekends and public holidays.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Strong communication and organizational abilities.
- Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective interaction with colleagues, patients, management, and the community.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and possess a diverse skill set.
- Basic proficiency in using computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Driver's License.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with health regulations and food safety standards.
- Understanding of infection control practices.
- Knowledge of cleaning standards as set by health authorities.
- Training in safe food handling practices.
- Experience in cleaning and kitchen assistance through on-the-job training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to cleaning standards and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain high hygiene standards throughout the facilities.
- Follow infection prevention protocols diligently.
- Communicate effectively with fellow staff members.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and supported employees in a professional manner.
