We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services Director to join our team at Healthscope Hospitals. As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for leading our non-clinical cleaning, waste, and linen services, ensuring a high standard of service to our patients, staff, and guests.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of up to individuals, providing guidance and training to new recruits and current staff members.
- Organize and manage rosters, ensuring adequate staffing levels and efficient service delivery.
- Manage financial and budgetary aspects, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
- Ensure strict adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Infection Control procedures.
- Previous leadership experience in an Environmental Services capacity, ideally in a hospital or hospitality setting.
- Experience with computerized rostering systems, such as Kronos.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive knowledge of cleaning and surface elements, as well as OHS and Infection Control procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to train and upskill staff.
