Venue Coordinator
We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the execution of corporate functions and events at our centre.
The Role:
Key duties include:
- Managing client relationships, planning events, and setting up operational logistics for successful functions
- Conducting regular site inspections, maintaining liaison with clients, and creating detailed event orders and floor-plans
- Collaborating with operations and kitchen teams to ensure seamless event delivery
- Providing exceptional customer service through follow-up correspondence and feedback responses
- Liaising directly with preferred suppliers where necessary
- Leading by example and guiding team members towards success
About You:
- Proven experience in event coordination or a similar operational role is essential.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills are required, along with attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Knowledge of audiovisual equipment, catering, and event technology would be beneficial.
