About the Role

AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Secondary Systems Engineer to join our Energy team in Australia. As a key member of our Transmission and Distribution Practice, you will provide technical support and deliver quality project outcomes on time and budget.

As a Secondary Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing HV transmission substations protection systems, including Low Voltage Control and protection design. You will also have experience in design of SCADA systems and development of functional specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop HV transmission substations protection systems, including Low Voltage Control and protection design
  • Develop and implement SCADA systems and functional specifications
  • Provide technical support and deliver quality project outcomes on time and budget
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 2-6 years of experience in the Transmission Secondary and SCADA environment
  • Design experience in HV transmission substations protection systems, including Low Voltage Control and protection design
  • Experience in design of SCADA systems and development of functional specifications
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of electrical engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
