Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Secondary Systems Engineer. As a key member of our Energy team, you will be responsible for delivering quality project outcomes on time and budget.
As a Secondary Systems Engineer, you will be engaged in the design and development of HV transmission substations, including protection systems and SCADA systems. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop HV transmission substations, including protection systems and SCADA systems
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver solutions that meet their requirements
- Collaborate with our team to ensure timely and budget delivery of projects
- Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical engineering and SCADA systems
- Contribute to the development of our team's technical capabilities and expertise
- 2-6 years of experience in the transmission secondary and SCADA environment
- Design experience in HV transmission substations, including protection systems and SCADA systems
- Comprehensive understanding of QLD power distribution system
- Experience in design of SCADA systems and development of functional specifications
- Experience in sourcing, selection, and integration of control systems hardware and associated cabling into substation design
- Design management experience
- University degree in Electrical Engineering and CPEng, RPEQ – or working towards
