Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Climate Change Sustainability Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing risk consulting and assurance engagements related to climate change and sustainability.

About the Role

As a Climate Change Sustainability Expert, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, including energy and environment. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting risk consulting and assurance engagements related to climate change and sustainability
  • Providing expert advice on ESG, sustainable management, and procurement to satisfy the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and sustainability reporting under frameworks such as the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards, Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
  • Advising on risks and opportunities related to the effects of climate change
  • Management and coordination of teams, including training, mentoring, and methodology compliance
  • Maintaining strong budgetary discipline to ensure effective and realistic budgets
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Environmental Science, or Engineering
  • Completed CA or relevant equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in assurance or advisory services, preferably within Professional Services or a relevant industry position
  • Strong passion for ESG, carbon emissions, environmental, and energy compliance and reporting requirements and legislation
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Strong process mapping and problem-solving skills
