
Medical Director

We're seeking an accomplished physician leader to spearhead our Cardiovascular product line operational teams through proactive and data-driven engagement activities.
This role involves collaborating with senior physicians to drive quality, safety, and patient experience improvements, ensuring care appropriateness, and reducing healthcare costs.
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude towards problem-solving, and be responsible for leading teams, fostering alignment, and ensuring the physician voice is heard in decision-making.
- Lead physician leadership to the Cardiovascular product line operational teams
- Collaborate with other senior physicians to achieve quality goals
- Drive change by assisting physicians and administration in managing adaptive change necessary to address market dynamics
- Foster alignment and liaison function between administration and physicians
- Assure physician voice is heard and understood in decision-making
- Engage all physicians and ensure they understand the "why" of decisions
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification in Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, or Vascular Surgery
- Undergraduate or graduate degree, or other advanced certification in business, healthcare administration, or leadership (preferred)
- License to practice medicine by the relevant licensing agency
- Minimum of 3 years of experience, 5+ years preferred, in a medical director or other medical administrative role
- Experience for at least 7 years as a practicing physician
- Excellent communication skills; able to create open channels of communication, collaboration, and influence
- Seen as a role model for listening and respecting diverse opinions
