Job Overview

This role is responsible for assisting with new hire orientation, student precepting, department education, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide echo training and support to sonographers.
  • Evaluate sonographer quality performance.
  • Formalize sonographer orientation/training program.
  • Work with medical director for quality improvement of the echo program.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a registered cardiac sonographer.
  • Graduate from an accredited cardiac sonography program.
  • Current RDCS, RDMS, or RCS certification.
Work Environment:
  • Mid-senior level position.
  • Full-time employment.
  • Healthcare provider setting.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with physicians, patients, and colleagues.

They will also be accountable for maintaining high standards and providing feedback respectfully, openly, honestly, and directly to patients and caregivers.
