Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering patient-centric care, providing expert advice, and facilitating seamless communication across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care management plans, prioritizing complex needs and ensuring effective coordination.
  • Offer consultation and guidance on cancer care throughout the continuum, with follow-up as necessary.
  • Maintain open communication with healthcare professionals, participate in team meetings, and coordinate scheduling of treatments.
  • Identify patient needs, make timely referrals to allied health services, and contribute to treatment planning.
  • Ensure data accuracy and participate in education events, research initiatives, and Foundation programs.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Minimum five years of experience in Oncology, Palliative Care, or Cancer Stream nursing; postgraduate qualifications relevant to the field.
  • Valid NSW Driver's Licence.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
