Job Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Clinical/Forensic Psychologist to fill the role of Mental Health Professional.
- Providing expert clinical knowledge and interventions in child and adolescent mental health is a crucial aspect of this position.
- Conducting forensic assessments, including standardized psychometric tools, to inform opinion and recommendations is essential for success in this role.
- The ideal candidate will develop partnerships with consumers, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies to ensure optimal client needs and outcomes.
- Promoting access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds is a key priority for this position.
- As a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies, and the community, you will provide valuable expertise and guidance.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant regulatory body.
- General registration with the relevant regulatory body and endorsement in clinical psychology.
- Approved supervisor status with the relevant regulatory body at all levels of supervision.
- Extensive clinical experience in delivering mental health psychology services to children and adolescents.
- Advanced clinical experience in evidence-based clinical modalities relevant to Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
