Senior HVAC Engineer Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Senior HVAC Design and Construct Engineer to join our team in Sydney.

The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, knowledge of building codes, and experience in leading project teams.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop HVAC systems that meet client requirements and comply with relevant building codes.
  • Review concept designs for cost savings opportunities and ensure accurate heat loads and ventilation calculations.
  • Coordinate the design process from equipment sizing and selection to scheduling, air and water schematics, floor duct and pipe designs.
  • Oversee commissioning and final certification sign off.
  • Ensure detailed understanding of the National Construction Code's DtS requirements, including passive fire rating and Australian Standards AS/NZS 60079-10.1.

Requirements:

  • Possess passion for efficient and innovative HVAC mechanical services design.
  • Hold a degree in mechanical engineering recognized by Engineers Australia.
  • Have at least ten years of HVAC design and construction experience in a similar mechanical services contractor design role.
  • Be experienced in heat load calculation using CAMEL or equivalent software.
  • Have proficiency in Excel and Bluebeam software.
