Job Title: Assistant Site Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Assistant Site Manager. This position is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day workflow of the team, supporting the attraction, selection, training, and development of permanent and casual team members, and developing and maintaining relationships with growers, customers, local community groups, and internal stakeholders.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to grow and expand our operations.
  • You will be responsible for reporting directly to the Site Manager and working alongside a team of permanent Grain Handlers to deliver a safe and effective service in the reception, storage, and outload of grain via road and rail.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the team, ensuring seamless execution and efficient workflows.
  2. Support the attraction, selection, training, and development of permanent and casual team members, fostering a culture of growth and empowerment.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, customers, local community groups, and internal stakeholders, driving business growth and expansion.
  4. Assist the Site Manager in implementing and reviewing site budgets, participating in site financial planning, and achieving site targets.
  5. Support resource planning for grain receival/outload activities during peak and off-peak periods, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
  6. Supervise a large seasonal workforce during busy harvest intake periods, including at multiple sites.
