Job Overview

The role of Assistant Site Manager is a pivotal position within our organization, overseeing the efficient and safe service in the reception, storage, and outloading of grain via road and rail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily team operations and support staff development through recruitment, training, and mentorship.
  • Develop strong relationships with growers, customers, local community groups, and internal stakeholders to drive collaboration and success.
  • Work closely with the Site Manager to implement and review site plans, contribute to financial planning, and achieve key performance targets.
  • Provide strategic guidance on resource allocation for grain reception/outloading activities during peak and off-peak periods.
  • Oversee seasonal workforce management during busy harvest intake periods at multiple sites.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Mid-to-senior level experience in manufacturing or logistics environments.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively motivate and guide teams.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive business results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
