About the Role:

Fletcher Building is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our operations and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the branch, ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, and driving profitability through effective management of our people and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee the picking, packing, and dispatch of stock and customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of employees, inspiring them to achieve great results and progress within the business.
  • Business Development: Drive growth and profitability through effective management of our people, resources, and operations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment for all employees, adhering to occupational health and safety requirements and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Industry Experience: Ideally, you will have experience in the plumbing or building products industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of business operations, including budgeting, profit and loss statements, and stock management systems.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and stakeholders.
