Job Title: Mental Injury Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Injury Specialist to join our team at WorkFocus. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in identifying return-to-work barriers and designing programs to assist injured employees regain independence and achieve employment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify return-to-work barriers for psychological conditions and some physical conditions
  • Develop and implement tailored programs to assist injured employees return to the workforce
  • Provide job seeking and advocacy services to achieve successful employment outcomes
  • Offer specialist mental injury case management and intervention on primary or secondary psychological claims
  • Ensure clients, employers, and agents receive best-practice psychological intervention and return-to-work support for mental injury
  • Drive achievement of recovery and return-to-work goals through evidence-based intervention
  • Undertake specific services and assessments relevant to mental injury and discipline/competency
  • Achieve return-to-work outcomes across case load
Requirements:
  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling
  • Appropriate professional registration
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
  • Commitment to high-level customer service
  • Willingness to travel (current vehicle and driver's license required)
  • Current or ability to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance
