Job Title: Mental Injury Specialist

WorkFocus Australia is seeking a highly skilled Mental Injury Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting injured employees to return to work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop strategies to overcome Return to Work (RTW) barriers for employees with psychological conditions.
  • Design, implement, and review programs to assist injured employees in returning to the workforce.
  • Provide job seeking and advocacy services to support clients in achieving successful employment outcomes.
  • Provide specialist mental injury case management and intervention for primary or secondary psychological claims.
  • Ensure clients, employers, and agents receive best-practice psychological intervention and RTW support for mental injury.
  • Drive achievement of recovery and return to work goals through the implementation of regular, intense, evidence-based intervention.
  • Undertake specific services and assessments relevant to mental injury, including worksite, vocational, and psych functional assessments.
  • Achieve RTW outcomes across your case load.
  • Maintain knowledge of best-practice in mental injury RTW management and intervention.
Requirements:
  • Australian recognised degree qualification in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • Appropriate professional registration.
  • Willingness to learn and positively impact people's lives.
  • Ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • Commitment to high-level customer service.
  • Willingness to travel (current vehicle and driver's license required).
  • Current or ability to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
