The Therapeutic Specialist delivers therapeutic leadership and trauma-informed interventions based on expert practice and contemporary research. This focuses on achieving positive outcomes for vulnerable children and families.
To be successful in this role, you will have:

- An appropriate tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline. Postgraduate training in relevant child, adolescent, and family clinical practice, family work, and systemic thinking is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge areas relevant to working with traumatised and vulnerable children, young people, and families, which may include child development, mental health, disability, and other trauma-related behaviors.
Some key aspects of the role include providing therapeutic support, developing relationships, and contributing to positive outcomes. As a Therapeutic Specialist, you will work closely with staff, carers, and children to ensure the best possible results.
We offer a range of benefits, including generous salary packaging, ongoing career development opportunities, and employee assistance programs.
