Our 'It Takes a Village' program provides wraparound support to newly arrived migrant and refugee women and children, to help them settle into the Perth community. We're looking for a casual Child Development Assistant to assist us in our supported playgroups for children aged 0-5 years of age._

In this casual position based in the City of Stirling, you'll work with migrant and refugee women and their children aged 0 to 5 years of age who attend our 'It Takes a Village' playgroup. You'll work closely with our Child Development Specialist, Family Support Specialist and Life Skills Facilitator.
- You will make a difference by:_
- Warmly greeting mothers and children arriving to playgroup and engaging them throughout playgroup sessions to ensure they are supported
- Engaging and supporting mothers in positive parent-child interactions
- Supporting newly arrived mothers to develop skills to support integration and independence within community
- Empowering women and their children to build positive relationships with other women in playgroup and in community
