Child Development Specialist Role
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developmental paediatrics and excellent communication skills.
About the Role:
The Child Development Specialist will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care for children with developmental disorders. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with parents and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Assessments and Develop Treatment Plans: Conduct thorough assessments of children's developmental needs and develop individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Provide Education and Support: Educate and support parents and caregivers on how to support their child's development and provide them with the necessary resources and tools.
Requirements:
- AHPRA Specialist Registration: Must be registered as a specialist with AHPRA.
- Developmental Paediatric Qualification: Hold a qualification in developmental paediatrics or a related field.
- FRACP Qualification: Possess a FRACP qualification or equivalent.
