A well-established Non-Profit Organisation in the Eastern Suburbs is seeking an experienced OH&S Specialist to join their team. In this critical role, you will champion and drive a safe, supportive, and thriving workplace.

The Job Description:

You will lead safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, investigations, and staff training to align with strategic health and safety goals. To excel, you'll bring extensive experience in OHS leadership, a deep understanding of safety compliance, and a track record of developing practical, innovative solutions. Strong communication skills are essential for translating complex information concisely and clearly.

  • Champion a positive safety culture within the organisation
  • Deliver and support the AccessHC Safety Management System
  • Maintain systems and utilise technology, including providing training to end-users
  • Accurate and efficient data input and records management
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification/Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety or related qualification
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a safety role
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary OHS legislation and practice
