Job Overview

Abacus Human Capital is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their Brisbane office. This exciting opportunity presents a chance to work with a renowned global firm known for its independent advisory and accounting services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the three-person team, ensuring the firm's operations run smoothly and assisting in the timely completion of key deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding payment plans and client information.
  • Compiling Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, and other correspondence.
  • Preparing client invoices and month-end reports.
  • Issuing company statements and preparing and lodging ASIC forms.
  • Providing support to leaders and staff in the Business Advisory and Tax division.
Experience and Skills Required
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an office administration role, preferably within a public practice accounting firm.
  • Familiarity with MYOB and Xero is highly preferred.
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving abilities, and client relationship skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
