Administrative Professional for Public Practice

Abacus Human Capital is seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their Brisbane office. This exciting opportunity presents a chance to work with a renowned global firm known for its independent advisory and accounting services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the three-person team, ensuring the firm's operations run smoothly and assisting in the timely completion of key deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regarding payment plans and client information.
- Compiling Income Tax Returns, Financial Statements, and other correspondence.
- Preparing client invoices and month-end reports.
- Issuing company statements and preparing and lodging ASIC forms.
- Providing support to leaders and staff in the Business Advisory and Tax division.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in an office administration role, preferably within a public practice accounting firm.
- Familiarity with MYOB and Xero is highly preferred.
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving abilities, and client relationship skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
