Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the International Supply Chain (ISC) vision, strategic objectives, and targets while driving continuous improvement and cost efficiencies.
  • Oversee all import and export operations for Australia and New Zealand, ensuring compliance with Customs, Quarantine, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers and government agencies to maintain competitive rates, strong service levels, and streamlined cross-border trade.
  • Monitor and achieve key performance metrics, including container clearance, demurrage control, and DIFOT targets.
  • Implement best practices, process improvements, and technology solutions to enhance productivity and reduce end-to-end costs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate operational risks.
  • Provide business updates of potential impacts to operations and work with internal and external teams on contingencies.
  • Provide data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to support business decisions and strategic projects.

To be successful in this role you'll have:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role with a focus on destination operations.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of supply chain processes and terminology.
  • Ideally experience working in a logistics or retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management and customer service mindset.
  • Evidence of strong problem-solving skills and analytical way of thinking.
