Lead duty drawback and free trade agreement initiatives, fostering collaboration with global teams and driving business growth.Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement compliance programs, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for cost avoidance.
  • Lead initiatives in duty drawback and free trade agreements, analyzing market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Train colleagues on new trade policies, promoting a culture of compliance and fostering collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Expert knowledge of trade and customs compliance regulations for Australia and New Zealand.
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in trade and customs compliance, preferably in CPG, legal, or consulting environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, international logistics, or commerce, or equivalent experience.
  • Australian citizenship is required.
