Technical Sales Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales of petroleum testing equipment and services to new and existing clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technical individual with instrumentation experience to transition into sales, where you will play a key role in driving sales and fostering client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales of petroleum testing equipment and services to new and existing clients
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within downstream fuels and oil condition monitoring sectors
  • Manage customer accounts and build long-term relationships
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and consultations
  • Visit client sites and travel interstate for conferences and meetings
  • Research industry trends, competitor activity, and ensure compliance with ASTM and ISO standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in analytical testing of petroleum/fuels is essential
  • Experience in instrumentation sales is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with ASTM and ISO standards is advantageous
  • Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Technical background with an entrepreneurial mindset
