Job Summary:

Nursing Leadership Opportunity

This is a leadership role that requires expertise in professional nursing practice and management. As a Chief Nursing Officer, you will lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

  • Lead a team of six internal staff, including EL2, EL1s, APS 6, and APS 5 employees.
  • Provide expert clinical and professional advice to the organization and its stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective clinical engagement and collaboration with the nursing profession and broader clinical workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of experienced healthcare professionals to achieve strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement best practice principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Executive and Program Directors to ensure effective collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in professional nursing practice and leadership.
  • Strong understanding of Australia's healthcare system, including national approaches to safety and quality.
  • Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to prepare high-level briefing documents and present publicly.
