We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to lead our nursing team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in professional nursing practice and leadership, with a strong understanding of best practice principles relating to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
- Lead a team of six staff members
- Oversee the organisation's work in comprehensive patient-centred care, recognising and responding to deterioration, and communicating for safety
- Provide expert clinical and professional advice to the Organisation, its Board and standing committees
- Ensure effective clinical engagement and collaboration with the nursing profession and broader clinical workforce
- Collaborate with other members of the Executive and their Program Directors to implement and report progress on key deliverables
This role requires a high level of expertise and knowledge of best practice principles, as well as experience in professional nursing practice and leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeading the Team:
- To lead and manage a team of six staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Clinical Expertise:
- To provide expert clinical and professional advice to the Organisation, its Board and standing committees.
Communication and Collaboration:
- To ensure effective communication and collaboration with the nursing profession and broader clinical workforce.
Implementation and Reporting:
- To collaborate with other members of the Executive and their Program Directors to implement and report progress on key deliverables.
This involves working closely with other departments and stakeholders to achieve organisational goals.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
They will also have a strong commitment to excellence in patient care, with a focus on delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our patients.

Requirements:
- Extensive experience in professional nursing practice and leadership
- Expertise and knowledge of best practice principles relating to continuous improvement and quality assurance
