Job Overview

As a strategic account advisor, you will have the opportunity to contribute to sales efforts within allocated accounts, working under supervision.

Your main goal will be to achieve assigned revenue targets and ensure high customer satisfaction through collaboration with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.

You will act as a trusted advisor, understanding and addressing clients' needs by proposing multiple fit-for-need solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Understand key priorities of clients to achieve or exceed assigned revenue and growth goals in assigned account(s) or sales territory.
  • Act as an advisor on business development, market trends, and company capabilities based on long-term relationships with clients.
  • Anticipate clients' needs and develop proposed solutions to their complex business issues in collaboration with marketing, sales specialists, consulting, and client service.
  • Identify and lead pursuit of targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities within assigned account(s).
  • Interface with executive levels in existing and prospective client(s).
  • Represent the company to clients and clients to the company in all sales-related activities.
  • Monitor client satisfaction with contracted deliverables and work with management team and Client Service's management to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage renewals and subscriptions.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of proven sales experience.
  • Basic knowledge of industry information solutions/services portfolio is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and listening skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working autonomously, taking ownership of tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated strength in collaboration, fostering teamwork across departments.
  • Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and being process-driven.
  • Business development experience and exceptional presentation skills to showcase our solutions effectively.
  • Currently living in Australia with full-time, permanent working rights.
