Administrative Support Role

We are seeking a skilled and professional Patient Services Officer to work in a fast-paced administrative environment.

This is a part-time opportunity, working Tues/Wed/Thurs. As the first point of contact to patients, you will provide exceptional customer service both face-to-face and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to clients and staff while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Work efficiently in an ever-changing environment where customer focus remains the top priority.
  • Manage patient records and filing of patient notes.
  • Book and confirm patients for appointments and consultations, and accurately process relevant paperwork including data entry.
Requirements:
  • Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience working successfully both independently and in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of patient billing systems and related Medicare funding mechanisms would be highly valued.
  • Exceptional phone manner and ability to handle a high volume of patient inquiries.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Flexible approach to work and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
