At our organisation, we are seeking a leader who embodies the Green Leaves Commitments to champion a culture of welcome, connection, kindness, and excellence.

Job Summary:

  • The successful candidate will live the Green Leaves Commitments in daily practice, driving a team that prioritises safety, well-being, and inclusion for all children.
  • They will run smooth day-to-day operations, focusing on effective rostering and wage control while managing a large Centre with over 100 places.
  • Our ideal candidate will create memorable experiences through warm greetings, high-quality tours, and orientations, inspiring team members to achieve best practice through collaboration.
  • They will oversee classroom curriculum and pedagogical documentation, championing quality education & care.
  • Additionally, they will build genuine connections with local families and networks, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract the next generation of Educator superheroes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Live the Green Leaves Commitments in daily practice
  2. Run smooth day-to-day operations with children and team at heart
  3. Create memorable experiences through warm greetings, high-quality tours, and orientations
  4. Use knowledge of sector regulations to navigate requirements
  5. Inspire team to achieve best practice through collaboration with National Learning, Research and Development Partner (NLRDP) and Centres Educational Leader
  6. Champion quality education & care by overseeing classroom curriculum and pedagogical documentation
  7. Build genuine connections with local families and networks
  8. Work with Talent Acquisition Specialist to attract next generation of Educator superheroes

Requirements:

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
  • Current State relevant Working with Children's Check, Police Check, PRODA
  • Current Child Protection Training
  • Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates
  • Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate
  • Hands-on experience running large Centre with over 100 places, managing effective rostering and wage control
  • Extraordinary leadership abilities with proven experience engaging, inspiring, and growing team of professional Educators
  • Strong knowledge of systems including Humanforce/Timetarget, Storypark, Qikkids, CCMS, Facebook, and ISS
