Corporate Affairs Manager Role

Synopsis:

  • This position will play a pivotal role in driving the bank's objectives through strategic corporate affairs management.

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Affairs Manager to lead our corporate communications and manage brand partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact communications strategies that support our purpose-driven approach to business.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Liaise with senior stakeholders to develop and implement effective media and public relations strategies.
  2. Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content and drive social media conversations.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with purpose-aligned organisations to foster collaborative opportunities.
  4. Provide expert advice on brand reputation, advocacy, and thought leadership.

Requirements:

  • Possess extensive experience in corporate affairs, communications, stakeholder relations or a related field.
  • Hold strong communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal - with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in issues management, advocacy, and developing communications strategies in a corporate reputation context.
  • Show a demonstrated interest in public policy, social and environmental issues in a business setting.
  • Exhibit skilled stakeholder engagement, research, and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
  • Experience leading high-performing teams and coaching others to success is essential.
  • Hold excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, professionally, collaboratively and results-driven.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, business, public policy, social science or a related field are desirable.
