Corporate Affairs Manager Role
Synopsis:
- This position will play a pivotal role in driving the bank's objectives through strategic corporate affairs management.
About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Affairs Manager to lead our corporate communications and manage brand partnerships. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-impact communications strategies that support our purpose-driven approach to business.
Main Responsibilities:
- Liaise with senior stakeholders to develop and implement effective media and public relations strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content and drive social media conversations.
- Build and maintain relationships with purpose-aligned organisations to foster collaborative opportunities.
- Provide expert advice on brand reputation, advocacy, and thought leadership.
Requirements:
- Possess extensive experience in corporate affairs, communications, stakeholder relations or a related field.
- Hold strong communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal - with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Demonstrate proven experience in issues management, advocacy, and developing communications strategies in a corporate reputation context.
- Show a demonstrated interest in public policy, social and environmental issues in a business setting.
- Exhibit skilled stakeholder engagement, research, and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
- Experience leading high-performing teams and coaching others to success is essential.
- Hold excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, professionally, collaboratively and results-driven.
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, business, public policy, social science or a related field are desirable.
