Job Role: Staffing Specialist

Overview

The Staffing Specialist is a crucial role that assists the Onboarding Team in managing employee engagement within a Federal Government Agency. Based in Canberra, this position is an initial 12-month contract with potential extensions.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with the Onboarding Team to manage employee engagement.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for internal movements.
  • Provide expert advice on onboarding and internal movement requests.
Key Responsibilities

Staffing Specialists will be responsible for:

  • Processing and providing expert advice on onboarding and internal movement requests.
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on recruitment requests.
  • Delivering high-quality, timely, and client-focused advice.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Working knowledge of recruitment policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and anticipate stakeholder needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify potential problems or issues and escalate them to senior team members.

  • A minimum of Baseline Security Clearance is required for this position.
