Your Role in Thornton
As a Customer Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in our branch team, assisting customers with their equipment hire needs. Your responsibilities will include coordinating daily operations, identifying and responding to customer needs, and contributing to the achievement of team KPIs. You will also be responsible for completing various branch administrative duties, such as generating hire schedules and invoicing.

• Coordinate equipment deliveries, transfers, pick-ups, repairs, and breakdowns

• Identify and respond to customer needs in person and by phone and email

• Contribute to the achievement of team KPIs – customer loyalty, sales revenue, safety

• Complete branch administrative duties – generate hire schedules, invoicing, etc.

About You
We are looking for a friendly and sociable individual with strong customer service skills and a strong work ethic. You will ideally have a high level of attention to detail, intermediate computer skills, and previous experience in a customer service role. You will also be a quick learner and able to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions. Experience in or an interest in the construction, mining, or engineering industries is a plus.

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

• Quick learner with a high level of attention to detail

• Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel)

• Previous experience in a customer service role

• Genuine interest in helping others

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work conditions
