Exceed Painting Group is a reputable commercial painting enterprise experiencing significant growth, catering to the needs of builders. Our dedicated team comprises 30 skilled employees and contractors, specializing in the painting of educational institutions, retail outlets, dining establishments, corporate offices, and various other facilities.

We are currently seeking a full-time Project Manager to oversee projects across Melbourne, including the East, South East, and the Peninsula regions.

Essential Qualifications
  1. At least 3 years of experience in commercial painting.
  2. A minimum of 2 years in project management within the commercial painting sector.
  3. Proven experience managing a team of 15 or more across multiple job sites.
  4. Possession of a White Card.
  5. Fluent communication skills in English.
  6. Valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle capable of transporting equipment such as ladders and spray guns.
  7. Willingness to travel for regional assignments.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the management of commercial painting projects in Melbourne and the South East, with occasional travel for regional assignments.
  2. Coordinate labor and material resources across 5 to 10 job sites simultaneously.
  3. Engage with builders and subcontractors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  4. Interpret and apply plans and specifications related to painting tasks.
  5. Monitor the performance and standards of all team members.
  6. Identify and secure approvals for any changes to the scope of work.
  7. Provide necessary training to staff as required.
  8. Ensure compliance with building regulations and standards regarding performance, quality, cost, and safety.
  9. When necessary, the Project Manager may be required to assist with hands-on tasks, including surface preparation, paint application using brushes, rollers, and sprays, as well as cleaning equipment and work areas.
Additional Information
  1. Initial 6-month trial period.
  2. Eligibility for a 10% bonus on projects completed within budget.
  3. Requirement to obtain a Working With Children Check.
  4. Preferred possession of an Elevated Work Platform license.
