About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Advisor to join our Wealth Advisory team at William Buck. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality financial advice to successful business owners, high-level executives, and ultra-high net worth families.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and advice, with excellent analytical and communication skills. You will work closely with our Directors and Senior Advisors to deliver sophisticated and tailored advice to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend and contribute to new and existing client meetings
  • Lead the client relationship in partnership with a Senior Advisor
  • Develop and produce high-level strategy advice documents
  • Investment analysis, portfolio construction, and management
  • Research and develop financial strategies across wealth accumulation, investment strategies, balance sheet re-structuring, debt management, estate planning, tax minimisation, and asset protection
  • Provide strategic input to the preparation of client review documents
  • Implementation of client recommendations, including portfolio trading, to bring a strategy to life
  • Attend to client queries and liaise with other professionals to deliver great client outcomes

Requirements:

  • A degree in Commerce, Economics, or a similar discipline is preferred
  • 3+ years' experience working in the industry within financial planning/advice, superannuation consulting environment, technical role, or accounting is preferable
  • A desire to invest in themselves as much as we will invest in them - which is a lot
  • Exceptional client service focus and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Word, Excel, and analytical skills
  • Personable and good fun people who want to build their careers with us

Base Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
