Estimator - Insurance Building Specialist

Fuse Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Estimator to join our team and report directly to the Operations Manager. As an Estimator, you'll play a crucial role in assessing and analysing building costs, ensuring our clients receive accurate and fair evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide estimating support to Operations & Major Loss Managers
- Assist with training and mentoring of estimating team
- Attend site and complete detailed assessments on domestic and commercial buildings inclusive of minor to major loss
- Undertake initial inspections, provide detailed causation reports and cost estimates, utilising company estimating tools and rate cards
- Oversee Sales / Estimator budget including planning, forecasting and timelines
- Liaise closely with loss adjuster and insurers, monitoring approval rates
- Strategic review wins & losses with senior management
- Managing client expectations, providing periodic updates, ensuring the best customer experience by building strong customer relationships through communication
- Build new & leverage existing relationships with key personnel in the insurance industry
- At least 3 years experience in Insurance Estimating including large loss claims is essential
- Very strong all round communication skills, organisational skills and attention to detail
- A commitment to safety with sound knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Experience in negotiation, facilitating and collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Trade qualification such as carpentry would be highly regarded
