Strata Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled Strata Estimator to join our team at Johns Lyng Group. As a key member of our insurance building team, you will be responsible for estimating building reinstatement works and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret scope of works provided by consultants and attend sites to estimate for building reinstatement works
• Write scope of works documents when required and work in conjunction with supervisors to achieve set budgets
• Build new and leverage existing relationships with key personnel in the insurance industry
• Liaise with clients and insurers to ensure all work conforms to legislative and contractual OH&S requirements

Selection Criteria:

• Previous estimating experience required, with a building trade or construction qualification advantageous
• Insurance building background essential, with remedial building background ideal but not essential
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
• Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and be empathetic to the needs of the client
