The Event Services Floor Manager is a pivotal role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless event execution.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic events operations team and contribute to shaping the success of events business. As Event Services Floor Manager, key responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Assist in completing all people planning requirements, including recruitment, training, and performance management of team members.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during their event, leading the operational running of events.
- Performance Standards: Establish specific daily performance objectives for team members and manage service flow and performance standards.
- Compliance: Ensure events adhere to detailed client briefs, including specifications for organisers and outside contractors.
- Communication: Implement policies and procedures, maintaining operation and quality service standards.
We seek a candidate with managerial experience in event or conference delivery, demonstrated ability in planning and problem-solving, cross-departmental relationship building, and strong knowledge of food service, event set-ups, and equipment requirements.
A successful candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be able to work efficiently, think critically, and find creative solutions to unexpected situations. They will inspire the team and contribute to achieving new heights.
