This is an office-based role where you will be directly responsible for the management and leadership of the Finance Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight and management of financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard assets and improve business systems.
- Leadership and mentorship of the finance team, providing training, guidance, and support.
- Collaboration with other departments and stakeholders to set KPIs, track progress, and update senior leadership.
- Management of external relationships with auditors, banks, and vendors, representing the organisation's financial interests in all dealings.
- Australian Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- CA, CPA, or NIA qualification.
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and taxation laws.
- 5+ years' experience in a similar senior role in Australia.
- Proven track record of achievement with a proactive, high-performing mindset.
- Strong stakeholder relationship skills across all levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Real Estate knowledge desirable.
- Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) desirable.
