Job Title: Finance Business Partner

  • This is a senior level role within the finance team.

Job Description:

The Finance Branch is looking for talented individuals to fill the Finance Business Partner role at the EL1 level. This position sits within the finance team and provides strategic advice to facilitate long-term commercial thinking.

You will be working closely with the Digital & IT Services team to provide support and advice, and play a key role in achieving positive financial outcomes through activities such as spend and budget management.

Collaborating with the broader CFO team, you will generate insights into financial planning and analysis and implement budgeting and forecasting processes and procedures.

Maturing the financial acumen of the business, liaising with other organisational Business Partners, developing and maintaining relationships to influence within the Agency at the peer and senior levels, and positively influencing external stakeholders are also key aspects of this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop trusted relationships with Executive members and senior leaders.
  2. Support financial decision making within the Digital & IT Services team.
  3. Collaborate with the broader CFO team to generate insights into financial planning and analysis.
  4. Liaise with other organisational Business Partners to drive consolidated planning & reporting.
  5. Create and maintain a broad range of relationships to influence within the Agency at the peer and senior levels.
  6. Develop and support an environment that fosters collaboration and accountability.
