Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in providing high-quality support services to our participants. As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting participants with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities. You will work in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) or SDA environment, helping participants to develop their skills and independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised support to participants with complex care needs
  • Assist with daily living tasks, personal care, and social activities
  • Develop and implement support plans to promote participant independence
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in disability support or a related field
  • Experience working with participants with complex care needs
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with participants and their families
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts
  • Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Orientation, COVID Infection Control, NDIS Workers Screening, Working with Children Check, and National Police Check
  • Current Open Driver's Licence
