Cost Expertise Role

We transform outcomes to improve lives. Our cost experts provide expert advice and guidance on project costs.

As a cost expert, you will prepare accurate cost plans, assess tenders, recommend payments, and report on costs. You will also measure items within a plan, assess tender returns, and recommend contractor payments.

The ideal candidate has experience across projects, including pre-contract, procurement, and post-contract activities. They have 2-3 years of postgraduate experience and are members of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) or the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Our digital platform, used for all deliverables, requires individuals with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. CostX experience is preferred but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost plans, tender assessments, payment recommendations, and cost reports.
  • Measure and price individual items within a cost plan.
  • Assess tender returns and recommend contractor payments.
  • Compile benchmarking and market intelligence data.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate experience in quantity surveying or related field.
  • Membership of AIQS or RICS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
