Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Management Specialist to perform complex contract management work within an integrated workforce. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with legislative frameworks, government decision-making, and mission and policy requirements.
The Australian Government is looking for a results-driven professional with strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for procurement and contract management. As a Contract Management Specialist, you will be accountable for delivering procurement related documentation including templates, schedule, correspondence, reports, submissions, delegate approvals, plans, and strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Procurement planning, tendering, and contract formation, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes, and procedures.
- Monitoring and managing contract administration, performance, and risks against the contract, reviewing vendor key performance indicators (KPI) and service level agreement (SLA) performance.
- Engaging and negotiating with clients and stakeholders, responding to complex enquiries, and contract management issues.
- Initiating and recommending mitigation strategies for risks associated with contract management activities, supplier's performance, and compliance with mandatory requirements.
