Maritime Auxiliary Systems Program Office Specialist

A pivotal role within the Maritime Auxiliary Systems Program Office (MA SPO) exists for a specialist to perform analysis, coordination and reporting. As part of the MA SPO's dynamic Quality Management team, you will help support and influence positive outcomes for the Royal Australian Navy's maritime auxiliary capabilities.

The Role
  • Coordinate supplier performance data collection, analysis and reporting to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports which provide clear and actionable insights for decision makers.
  • Provide advice and leadership on risk management, guiding best practices and meeting regulatory requirements ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and relevant ISO standards.
  • Operate the Risk Management System and provide quality risk reporting.
  • Act as a key point of contact for supplier performance and risk related matters.
About our Team

The MA SPO supports the Royal Australian Navy's maritime auxiliary fleet and equipment, including maritime aviation and navigation training vessels, underwater surveillance, pacific and border force support, marine and towing services, as well as submarine search and rescue capabilities.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, performance management or similar fields.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A passion for data, processes and procedures, with a high attention to detail.
  • A high degree of flexibility and resilience, with excellent time management skills.
