Job Title: Lead Project Mechanical Engineer

About this role:

We are looking for a skilled Project Coordinator with expertise in mechanical engineering to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery from concept to completion, working closely with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.

The role requires strong project coordination skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, as well as hands-on and detail-oriented approach.

  • Project Delivery: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of workshop fit-outs.
  • Clients and Stakeholders: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Scope Development: Develop and document scopes of work based on client needs and site inspections.
  • Budgeting and Cost Tracking: Prepare quotes, budgets and cost tracking for accurate and timely delivery.
  • Site Visits: Conduct site visits to oversee installations and ensure compliance with specifications.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years' experience in project coordination, engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D) for layouts and product design.
  • Familiarity with workshop/automotive equipment (hoists, air compressors, oil systems, etc.).
