Project Engineering Specialist

Job Summary:

A Project Engineer is required to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and pipes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and monitoring progress to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and planning authorities to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of project documentation, including designs, specifications, and test results.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Proven experience in mechanical project engineering, including design, development, and project management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Knowledge of Sydney Water FIFM process is desirable.
