Enterprise Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of our organisation's enterprise infrastructure in a modern, secure, and scalable environment.

This is a high-impact, multi-year program focused on enhancing the resilience, performance, and operational readiness of our data centre ecosystem. You will be pivotal in shaping the strategy, design, and execution of this major data centre migration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and lead infrastructure architecture solutions for large-scale data centre migration programs.
  • Develop and deliver technical designs aligned with our technology strategy and enterprise architecture framework.
  • Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership on networking, cloud, and infrastructure integration across on-premises and hybrid environments.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including infrastructure roadmaps, design artefacts, and implementation plans.
  • Present solutions to design authorities and facilitate technical decision-making across internal and external teams.
  • Lead configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting activities where required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience as an Enterprise Architect on data centre and infrastructure migration projects.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS), routing, switching, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Experience with SDWAN, SASE, and cloud network architecture (Azure and/or AWS).
  • Solid understanding of network security, architecture best practices, and hybrid infrastructure models.
  • Proven track record of engaging business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Experience working within formal enterprise architecture frameworks and governance structures.
  • Ability to lead technical workshops and influence senior stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry certifications).
  • Infrastructure and cloud certifications highly regarded (e.g. Cisco, AWS, Azure, TOGAF).
