About CTS People

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced diesel engine mechanic to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our high-tech company. Based in Australia, we offer relocation assistance to suitably qualified and experienced individuals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and repair vehicles with diesel engines safely, adhering to all rules and standards of the motor vehicle repair shop
  • Perform routine repairs, including oil and tire changes efficiently
  • Analyse diagnostic test results accurately to provide effective solutions
  • Document detailed inspection reports and repair plans professionally
  • Train and mentor trainees and apprentices in diesel engine mechanics
  • Collaborate with other diesel mechanics to achieve common goals
  • Submit reports and plans for approval to customers promptly
  • Advise customers on repair options and costs effectively
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Truck Mechanic is essential
  • Certified trade certification and relevant qualifications are necessary
  • Experience working with Japanese trucks is advantageous
  • A strong background in diesel mechanics is required
  • An HR Licence is not essential but desirable
  • Strong problem-solving skills, good time management, organisation, and collaboration capability
  • High degree of integrity, understanding health and safety regulations
  • Ability to build rapport with clients, strong customer service skills
