Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Cummins Inc. in a Field Service role. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our customers across various industries, including agriculture, forestry, mining, and marine.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers, ensuring their heavy diesel products are repaired and maintained to the highest standards.

• Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy diesel products in the field, working as part of an on-call roster.

• Diagnose and repair various engines, including engine rebuilding and reconditioning.

• Ensure adherence to all relevant Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation, reporting any issues or incidents to the Field Service Supervisor.

• Complete required documentation, such as service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.

Requirements

• Mechanical trades qualification as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, to Australian standards.

• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of HHP heavy diesel products in field service, with Cummins engines being highly preferred.

• Strong diagnostic and IT capabilities, with solid computer skills highly desirable.

• HR licence and forklift licence are desirable.
