Are you a skilled Heavy Diesel Technician looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment? Emeco is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Maintenance.
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Fleet Maintenance, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet. This includes providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required, working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures, and ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
We are looking for a candidate with 2+ years post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment, specifically working on Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi machines. A recognised National Heavy Diesel Mechanic / Fitter Trade Qualification is also required. Additionally, a high level of understanding of maintenance and reliability principles, a strong analytical mindset, and a solution-focused attitude are essential for this role.
As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives. You will also be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that encourages career progression and stability.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ongoing maintenance and optimisation of Emeco's heavy earthmoving fleet.
- Providing support to the Emeco rental fleet as required.
- Working safely and adhering to relevant HSE policy and procedures.
- Ensuring all maintenance and optimisation targets are met on time and within budget.
- Working with Emeco customers and stakeholders to meet larger organisational objectives.
What we offer:
- Competitive hourly rates up to $86.00 or $75.00 full-time + super (based on experience).
