Job Opportunity

The Remote Locum Dental Assistant Program is an initiative to strengthen healthcare services in remote communities.

Experienced dental assistants are sought to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote Northern Territory communities.

Requirements
  • A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 1 year's relevant clinical experience.
  • Current CPR or Basic Life Support certification.
  • Recent training in Hand Hygiene, Infection Control, and Sterilisation/Introduction to reprocessing reusable Medical Devices within the past year.
  • At least 6 months of relevant full-time clinical experience working as a dental assistant within the past 2 years.
